We were delighted to show representatives from the EU around our Chatham House office development late last week, a tight site situated just off Grafton Street involving considerable logistical challenges and planning. The concrete core of the building is now at roof level and the basement liner walls are fully complete. The ground floor steelwork, which will span over the 360 degree cinema/exhibition area, is currently being installed.
The steel frame will soon rise to splice level at the second floor, followed by installation of the metal deck and concrete floors. The process will then be repeated up to roof level until the structure is topped out.
We’re looking forward to seeing the steel skeleton of the new building starting to rise over the hoarding in the coming weeks and months.
