Together with representatives from Wicklow County Council and Co-operative Housing Ireland, Lioncor were honoured to host An Taoiseach Micheál Martin TD this morning at Kiruddery Glen on the Southern Cross Road in Bray, Co. Wicklow where the next phase of 18 duplex homes are due to be delivered in the coming weeks.
Speaking this morning, An Taoiseach complimented Wicklow County Council and their on-going delivery of social housing units at a time of great housing need. Kilruddery Glen, a development of 208 new homes represents the largest transaction to date by Co-operative Housing Ireland as well as being a major contributor to the overall social housing output for 2022. The new homes are a mix of family houses, all of which are now occupied, duplex homes and 1,2 & 3 bedroom A-rated apartments along with a new green route and amenity area. Lioncor have also delivered the first NZEB compliant grocery store, a creche and a commercial centre at Southern Cross Central.
