We were delighted to attend Dublin City Council's Building Culture Conference yesterday at The Complex in Smithfield. The event brought together key stakeholders in the Arts, Culture and Development sectors to discuss the delivery of cultural spaces across Dublin along with a summary of the Cultural Infrastructure Toolkit to assist and guide developers in the provision of relevant cultural spaces.
Our head of planning Laura Murray gave an insightful presentation on the importance of cultural spaces, the public realm, public art and what is required to create that unique sense of place through the lens of her UK experience and her current focus on the Glass Bottle development in Dublin 4.
